A place for every growing voice
Both programs share one leadership philosophy. The experiences deepen as students grow.
Ages 13–17
For school students building confidence, public speaking, research, discussion, teamwork, and habits of service.
Ages 18–21
For college-age members developing advanced communication, mentoring, innovation, career readiness, and community leadership.

Students encounter ideas, questions, and possibilities worth exploring.
Learn
Research and guided learning help students see context, evidence, and different perspectives.
Practice
Students organize their message, rehearse their ideas, and become comfortable using their voice.
Present
Every presentation is an opportunity to communicate, respond, and be heard.
Reflect
Students consider what felt strong, what challenged them, and what they want to try next.
Improve
Feedback becomes a practical next step—not a judgment of the student.
Lead
Students take responsibility, contribute to a team, and turn learning into positive action.
Inspire
Students encourage new voices, model character, and create impact through how they lead.
Practice and feedback support growth. Level advancement remains approved by an administrator, mentor, or judge so recognition stays meaningful.
Leadership Journey
YUVA’s four stages give students a sense of direction without reducing leadership to a score. Each chapter reflects deeper confidence, contribution, and responsibility.
